We keep an eye on every parameter
The parameters we are monitoring by the TreeTalker are: the health of the tree canopy, sap flow, the daily CO2 stored by the plant, and the moisture of the trunk. The accelerometer will also allow for the evaluation of the plant's oscillations (for example, in the case of wind) and its stability (considerations regarding the risk of falling).

The monitored trees stored a total of
250 Kg
of CO2
in 6 months
Trees and urban parks are the unsung heroes
In the concrete jungles of our cities, trees play a key role in the fight against rising levels of carbon dioxide (CO2).
Trees in urban forests are skilled at capturing and storing carbon through photosynthesis. During this process, trees absorb CO2 from the atmosphere, using it to produce energy and grow.
This mechanism effectively removes CO2 from the air, mitigating the impact of climate change.
Because we care
Urban forests, which include trees, shrubs, and other vegetation in cities, significantly improve the quality of urban life.
These forests enhance air quality by absorbing pollutants such as carbon dioxide (CO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), and particulate matter, lower ambient temperatures, and contribute to rainwater management by reducing runoff and preventing flooding.
Urban greenery also provides cultural and recreational benefits, promoting mental well-being and improving community cohesion. Urban green spaces also serve as habitats for urban wildlife, supporting biodiversity even in densely populated areas.
We take care of the monitoring
Monitoring urban green areas is crucial because it allows us to keep track of the health, growth, and effectiveness of these natural resources in providing essential ecosystem services.
Urban environments face increasing pressures due to climate change, pollution, and rapid development. Understanding the role of urban forests can guide effective decision-making for sustainable urban planning.
Our mission
The goal of this project is to integrate cutting-edge technology with traditional tree monitoring standards, using a newly designed IoT-based platform, the TreeTalker®Cyber.
The project offers us an important opportunity to showcase plants as living beings, our benefactors, and "companions" in the challenges posed by climate change.
